What rate is this? Verified 2026-08-28 from shopify.com/pricing. Shopify Payments: Basic online 2.9% + 30¢, Grow 2.7% + 30¢, Advanced 2.5% + 30¢. In-person Basic 2.6% + 10¢, Grow 2.5% + 10¢, Advanced 2.4% + 10¢. Third-party gateway extra 2% / 1% / 0.6% by plan — that extra is not added on top of Shopify Payments unless you pick third-party. Optional typical Stripe 2.9% + 30¢ only applies when you check it on third-party. Premium and international cards cost more. Plans differ.
What is reverse calculation? If you need to take home a set amount, it solves for the charge that leaves that amount after the fee.
Does this talk to Shopify? No. It uses a small rate file. Nothing is sent to Shopify.
