How is this calculated? Tiles = ceil(area / ((width/12) × (length/12)) × (1 + waste/100)).
What about grout? This uses the tile face. Grout joints mean you may need slightly fewer tiles; waste covers cuts.
Why round up? You cannot buy a fraction of a tile.
